    Default New Apiary in IL!

Greetings Everyone! My name is Michelle, this is our first year and we have two hives. The packages were installed about a month ago, both queens were released and we completed our first inspection last Sunday. Both hives address doing very well, and we should be adding the second deep body on Saturday. We started this as an opportunity to teach my kids how to start and manage an agricultural business through 4H. I still have to register on Drift watch, and I have a lot of questions. I've read the Dadant First Steps of Beekeeping, and Mastering the art of beekeeping.
