Question Swarm hive, any ideas what type of bees?

    Hi guys,

Caught this swarm 4 weeks ago and wanted to know what type of bees these are. Hoping they're some variety resistant to varroa!

    Here's another picture TUaOevC.jpg

Going based of this website http://www.agriculture.technomuses.c...ee/russian.php they look like they're Russian honey bees, which would mean they're resistant to varroa!

Well you're the bee whisperer, I would've imagined you'd be able to differentiate the accents! But I'd still love some clarification from you guys if they're Russians.

Those are honey bees, maybe some carni or russian in them, you can't really tell by coloration for the most part.

All the workers look the same, sorry I don't have any pics of the queen or drones. But these bees propolis like crazy! It's everywhere, not like something I've seen before.

yeah, russians like their propolis. They do look like russians somewhat if some of the pics I've seen of "russian" bees were really russian bees.
