Question Do queens need water or is the moisture in the candy enough?

Hi, I have been keeping a queen inside for a few days and I have been wondering if they need water? I am hoping to keep her until I can make a split, but there isn't even any willow pollen yet so I can't do it yet, but I hope too sometime in the future.

    Sammyjay,

Yes. Put a drop of water on the screen 2-3 times a day. Otherwise your queen could die.

One drop a day is best. More is not better. A quiet dark place is good. Not too cold, not too hot.
