Just finished our first hive inspection.. Frames 1,2,3,8,9,10 empty ... Found the queen, alive and well.. Saw a bunch of eggs in what i would say should turn out to be a good brood pattern... Pollen is being brought in steadily... I didnt see anything i am concerned about being "abnormal" .. First hive inspection ever, but in my oppinion they are doing just fine.. Comb is being made, eggs are being laid, pollen is coming in.. Not to mention the bees were very very cooperative and calm.. So far so good
Forcast is looking good for the next week.. Next thursday is suppose to drop back to 50's but i dont think it will get much worse than that.. I really hope not or it could be devastating.. Everything is blooming and a freeze now could be very very bad.. Fingers crossed on that one
