    Default Apicare

Apicare is the latest version of Beesheild, see http://www.beesource.com/forums/show...507-Bee-Shield

Apicare has a catchy website with the usual claims about sorting viruses, AFB, etc.

    See http://apiholdings.com/apicare.html

Thought I would post this so anyone searching this product can discover what lies behind it.

as a younger and new-beek, I have to say thankyou Oldtimer.

I'm lucky to have a couple of beek mentors locally (I've been cleaning, rewiring, and embedding foundation for weeks as part of my apprenticing deal!) and they too caution about snake oil salesmen suddenly taking a big interest in the beekeeping world - now that bees are "in vogue".

Probably hasn't had time to subcontract out the relabeling of the old stuff yet.

I think Justin's role is purely internet and selling, the content of the web site shows a clear lack of understanding of bees, the queen raising etc must be contracted out to some person who knows more, but being marketed under the Apicare brand.

Looking like they sell bees adds legitimacy to what he hopes will be the main money maker, their Apicare product.
