    Default weather proof staples?

I was able to find printing press plates that I am wrapping around outdoor grade plywood. I started stapling the metal on, but started wondering how rust resistant the staples are.

I'm using regular galvanized arrow t50 staples that get attached to the underside of my warré inspired roof. Visiting the arrow website I see they recommend stainless steel or monel staples for better rust protection. As the other types are more expensive and difficulty to source, would using them be worth it? Should I consider nails?

It does not appear that the location where you are using the staples will be inaccessible after the staples are applied. So if the galvanized staples actually do rust over time, you can just add new ones.
