I'm a new beekeeper from Grand Lake New Brunswick. I have two colonies that seemed to over winter without any issues. I over wintered with two deeps (lots of honey left in the top deep), bottom deep is pretty empty. didn't notice any eggs yet but i didn't look at all the frames as the temps have been on the cooler side. just wondering if any locals could tell me what the bees should be up to now and what i should be seeing in there. do i reverse the boxes? heard mixed advice on that. i put a feeder on but they haven't touched it at all. they seem to be strong with lots of bees flying on the warmer days and i see them bringing in pollen. there isn't anything really blooming yet, so maybe i should just let them be for now? any advice would be helpful.
