Default Swarm - two weeks, no eggs, brood, cant find queen

We have a recently captured swarm but are concerned that we are not seeing any eggs or brood. It has been two weeks and there is no evidence of a queen present inthe hive. We are not sure what to do at this point and would hate to see the hive die out.

Do you have another hive you could rob from? When in doubt...add a frame of eggs. If they are queen less they can make a new one.

Also, see if you can get a nearby beekeeper to:

    A) Inspect your hive with you; sometimes a more experienced pair of eyes will notice things that you may not

    and/or

    B) Donate a frame of eggs/open brood for your new hive; this serves dual-purpose by letting them raise a new queen if they need one, and giving them brood to anchor them in their new home.
