    Default Frames

    Can I mix wood with Mann Lk plastic was thinking I would change over slowly to wood. Any feedback on that would bee appreciated. Pluses or minuses. Or will this cause problems mixing ?

    once the frames are drawn out it makes no difference. if mixed it may take longer for the bees to start comb building, but they eventualy will start, once started it will be fine..the bees seem to start building on wood frames a bit quicker than plastic... once drawn out mix and match is ok...i would not try new plastic and new wood foundationless together at the same time.
