Adding deep super to prevent swarm

May be a dumb question for most of you.

In the spring, why not add an extra deep super in the spring. Move some of the frames from the bottom two into it, and mix the 10 bare frames in all three supers?

One is better than two weak ones, but, if you have a hive strong enough to need a 3d deep, I would split out a 5 frame nuc and replace frames with foundation, to hopefully prevent swarming. Move the queen to the 1st chamber, put any empty comb plus the five frames from the split in the 2d deep. Will give her room to move up, maybe keep swarming off their minds.
