    Default A Bully Bee?

I was videotaping some bees on our Flowering Cherry tree a couple of days ago when I saw what looked to be one bee pulling another bee off a blossom. There's a short slow-motion video of it here... http://solarbeez.com/2013/04/10/a-bully-bee/
The bully bee then just flies off. What's going on?

I saw another example of a bee tackling a white-winged insect that was innocently hanging out on the side of a crocus. The honeybee had been flying around it for some time, then did a 'fly-by' and uncerimoniously brushed it off the flower.

That's some rather odd behavior. I especially like the second video clip. Obviously those were the bees crocuses and that lacewing fly had no business being there. Great captures for sure!
I'm going to have to find the video I captured of 4 honey bees attacking a wasp that was trying to get into the hive. Lets just say that the wasp didn't survive and it too was unceremoniously dumped from the front of the bottom board. Now where is that video clip...?
