Default Obtaining frames with drawn comb from fellow beekeeper

I am setting up my first hive. I have a mentor beekeeper who has offered me several frames with drawn comb, to help my bees get a quicker start. Should I accept?

You should accept and be thankful. And name your firstborn after him.

If you know the other keeper well there is very rarely a problem. But accepting frames from an unknow source is risky. That is the reason most nuc sellers do not accept frame swaps or the return of a carrier be it wood or paper.
