    Yes,but the honey is of poor quality(taste).It is a shame it doesn't taste like the blooms smell.

    We have lots of Magnolia here and I agree with the above quote.

    Like everything else there are a lot of species of Magnolia trees. The southern might not taste like the northern. Do they tap maple trees in the south?

    Ace,we have plenty of maple here in the south and yes,syrup can be made with a great deal of effort.The trees aren't the problem,the weather is.We have no hard weather break to get the sap really flowing.

    Sorry Brian, my bad-- We don't tap the trees here, I thought you meant do the bees use the maple.
