Default any way to download "resource" articles as PDF?

I clicked the "download now" button which was a junk PDF reader loaded with toolbars etc.
Is it possible to print some of the articles for reading later?

Yes, you certainly can 'print' those pages to paper the same as any other page.

Saving to a PDF is also possible. It is a builtin feature in the Google Chrome browser I prefer. Here is the support page on doing that in Chrome:

Other browsers may also offer that feature, but I rarely use Firefox anymore, and IE is a complete waste of time.
