    Default Foil Tape

Maybe this should fall in the gadget category. Forget duck tape. I use foil tape (the kind heating & A/C guys use for connecting duct work etc) for about almost everything that I might have used duck tape for in beekeeping. An excellent way to mend a crack, seal a hole whatever. Easy to cut & shape, remove when you need to and it lasts..........

Once upon a time, many years ago, in a land far, far away,
heating & A/C guys used "duct" tape for connecting duct work etc. Then ordinary people also started using this "duct tape", and the market grew. Then some bright eyed, bushy tailed marketing type got the idea of trademarking "Duck Tape" to use as a brand name for duct tape. Then everyone started using the term "duck tape" instead of "duct tape".

If you do trap outs the bees can chew through "duct" tape but I have used the shinny stuff and they didnt chew through it.

Just another 2 while waiting for spring.

Duct tape is a good product, if you get a good grade of duct tape, and foil tape is also, but, neither can compete with gorilla tape for holding strength and items that it will stick to.

Unfortunately, Gorilla tape is a bit pricey.
