    Default Running 2 Queens

Has anyone Run or tried to run a two queen hive in a top bar hive ?

One TBH I have is weak. I was thinking about throwing a package in the other end. Letting them blend together.
(Yes, make excluder, paper combine so they get use to each other.)

My TBH's have entrances on both ends, one end is plugged.

If you let them blend one queen will most likely end up dead. The only two queen hives I've read about are two hives side by side w/ a modified, half open top on each. Then, on top of these two hives is a stack of supers that straddles both hives covering the open end of each hive's top. As a result the broodnests are separate like individual hives but the workforce of both queens service the same supers.

You can put a divider board and keep both in there if they don't mix though (need two entrances obviously). I'd probably do this and give the weak hive a chance to build up. If they don't perform then you can get rid of the old queen and then combine. If they both go good then you can just move one to another hive.

I'm sorry you must not have understood my post.
I have two entrances and know I need to use excluders.

Should work. Only problem I see is honey storage. With 2 queens a lot of room will be taken up for brood. May have to super both sides. See Michael Bush's site, he has some info on that. Keep us posted.

Then you would be good but, as pointed out, space could become an issue.

Not sure you could do the combine w/ both queens still present. Could end up losing both. Would have to remove one first.
