After a two year project we're finally cutting wood! Boxes for now, frames and other woodenware coming soon.
*Kiln dried Ponderosa Pine
*19-7/8" box OR 20"box (call or email to ask the benefit of the 20" box) both priced the same
*two styles of inset frame rest. Both provide a much stronger top finger than the average box
*option on countersunk drilled holes in fingers for those who prefer to screw boxes together (and yes, the holes are in the CENTER of the fingers)
*Wood sits and fully cures in dry central Utah before cutting so shrinkage is minimal
*$9.50 for deeps (90 box minimum) $7.95 for mediums (6-5/8) Free shipping in Utah
As a beekeeper for many years I've tried about every box out there and designed this one to last. I was especially tired of the top skinny rim of wood above the frame rest breaking or the adjoining finger splitting. This box is a proven design and will last years, probably decades, without the worry of breaking.
For those interested in pallet size orders (180 deeps) or more email me with contact info for a free sample box. Or call me.
Willing to trade boxes for honey thus splitting the shipping cost.
We're about 2 weeks out right now so get your orders in.
