    Anything wrong with using Crayola Washable Marker (Non-Toxic) to mark queens?

    Elmer's paint markers work well.

    I use automotive paint. Dries fast & durable.

    Toxins? Don't know, but the queens normally perform well for 2 years so doubt there's a problem.
    44 years, been commercial, outfits up to 4000 hives, now 120 hives and 200 nucs as a hobby, selling bees. T (mostly).
