Default relocating a duck box full of bees (pictures)

Received a call from someone who had a woodduck box that had been full of bees for years. The lady said I could have it if I wanted to come and get it. Went by her place to see what it was going to take to get it down. Realized it was going to take the help of my husband, if I could talk him into it. He doesn't really LOVE bees all that much, but he agreed to help. It was about 15 ft. off the ground and the box had been there for years, so I wasn't sure it was even going to hold together when we broke it free from the tree. All went well and we have them at there new location. Probably move them into a hive in a day or so.wood duck house bee removal 004.jpgwood duck house bee removal 010.jpgwood duck house bee removal 011.jpg
