Hot Knife thermostat needed

I bought 2 Kelley bees #164 Hot Knife's at an auction for $4.00 yesterday not working. The first one just needed a new cord. The other one needs a thermostat (it does heat up). Were can I find a good one at a good price. I sent an e-mail to Kelley's yesterday but I was wondering if there were other options.

I use a foot "dead man" or momentary style switch with my knife and I can use it to help regulate the temperature and the power is removed if I stop or walk away. It also keeps the end of the cord cleaner because I am not pulling the plug out of the wall all the time. I do place some plastic over the foot switch and tape it down to keep the switch clean. This may work for what you need.
