how to make box joints for hive bodys

Does anyone have information on making box joints on hive body corners. I know there are at least three different tools used to make these . Table saws, router tables and just a router with a box joint jig . I would appreciate any advice on this, especially recommendations on kinds and brands of jigs.

If you have a dado blade for your table saw, you can make the jig from scrap wood. mine works great.

I did a write-up on it and there are others, check out the Equipment Review section. It's not hard.

I use a 3/4 router bit on a table with a home made jig. Works for me.
