Hi from ND
My husband and I live in NE North Dakota and are just getting out first hives this spring. I originally was interested in them for our property and gardens alone and honey would be a plus.
My husband is a veterinarian and we have a small acreage with a few cows, pigs, chickens, cats, English shepherd and garden and starting out small orchard. We milk our dairy x cows for our own use and have an interest in charcuterie and cheesemaking.
Bees seem to fit into everything we are doing and as my husband went to PT this year, he will have lots more time to help. Oh,we also have 4 young children who love to do everything with us
