Yes, the series is beautifully filmed and narrated and offers a close look at a way of life and keeping bees in northern Germany that (almost) no longer exists today. Save time to watch them.
Here's a screen capture from episode three (or four). What are they doing? Waiting for swarms, so that they can attach the swarm-trapping bag to the skep. (And they had 600 hives!)
