    Default Plastic foundation

    Hi, I am new here! I just start beekeeping for only 1 year. I wondering anyone who using plastic foundation? cuz,I wanna try it, and don't know which is better or not? I was searching for several website, and found the plastic foundation is about 3 dollars each, that's a bit dear!! is anyone know where can I find cheaper one?

    Miller Bee Supply sells Pierco for about 1.25 a sheet if I recall , thats just foundation , no frame . Pierco is a well respected foundation.

    Black Plasticell is durable and it makes it easy for getting older eyes to find eggs/brood.

    Don't know where you can get it across the pond but, I like the black plastic also for my brood boxes. It makes the eggs a lot easier to see. I have tried several different brands and they all seem to work about the same.
