This forum IS a fantastic resource...to new beeks....almost new beeks (like me)...and old beeks (like we both will hopefully become).

Hello, I'm also a new beekeeper from near Regina, with one hive being our first in 2013. Are you still actively involved in beekeeping?

Welcome Hummingbird & Blueberry! I have a very good friend that now lives in Regina. He works in an Engineering/Architectural firm. He lives in the NE corner of the city. Considering the pictures and videos he sends me of the weather, I am surprised anything can survive outside there! Good luck.

Thanks everyone! It will be interesting to see how the bees do this winter with the temperature going down to minus 40 at times!
