    Default protein patties

I was planning on making up a few protein patties this weekend. I was going to use yeast in my recipe. All the recipes I see call for brewers yeast and it has to be deactivated. Can I just use regular yeast and heat it for long enough to make sure it is dead and add it to my recipe? Am I missing anything?

In the same way that trees aren't all the same, yeast isn't all the same.
    You want brewer's yeast.
I think your bees will get much better nutrition if you go by your yeast at the local feed store (for large quantity) or health food store (for small qty).
