Default hive throwing drone pupae out today

I live just south of the DFW area....I thought drone assasination was supposed to happen in the fall... this hive has a VSH queen, but I didn't see any varroa on the pupae.

Weather has been cmid-40's and rainy the last two days...warmed up this afternoon...had to have been kicked out today...ants hadn't gotten to them yet.

Bringing in light yellow pollen and bright orange pollen...and a little red orange pollen...

Likely just chilled brood that didn't survive the night temps. Happens this time of year.....
