Yesterday I was testifying at the legislature on a bill to destroy the current law requiring a three mile territory around bee yards. Someone said N.D. lost that protection. Any ND beeks care to comment on how the law has changed since I left in 1986?

In 1991 there were major changes, and the protected locations rules got tossed out. Here is a portion of the document linked above.

4-12.2-09. Establishment of commercial locations - Two-mile radius restriction - Sale of location.
Repealed by S.L. 1991, ch. 64, § 15.

4-12.2-10. Establishment of pollination locations.
Repealed by S.L. 1991, ch. 64, § 15.

4-12.2-12. Establishment of noncommercial locations.
Repealed by S.L. 1991, ch. 64, § 15.
