    Default cheap hive cover

I like to use a hive cover(a piece of vinyl or fake leather)to cover the brood box or super while I'm working on another box. I purchased these from a bee supply store for $13, but recently found out that cheap car mats purchased at the dollar store work just as good. They are light but heavy enough that a breeze dosen't blow them off. Just a suggestion to maybe save a few bucks.

I also found these flexible rubber rolls/mats at the dollar store. Once they are covered with
propolis I can work one section at a time on the hive by flipping it over. The long roll
is better than the short ones after cutting it in half length wise. So it is like .50 cents per.
It fits perfectly over a lang. hive.
