Wind Direction and Placement of Drone Colonies

I'm wondering about the placement of a drone colony in relation to a mating yard, and wondering about the effect of the prevailing winds. I have two locations. One is upwind from the other.

Would it be better to have the drones upwind or downwind from the queens?
