I believe that you are more likely to get useful responses if you specify the city or area that you are planning to move to in SC.

Why don't you put out a craigs list add. I would not mention bee's in the add maybe land for a garden. Specify amount of acres. When you visit the property tell the guy about your beekeeping.
Don't do it to early or he could not understand and not let you rent it. You are not being deceitful you are building a relationship with him before you mention it. Many people think beekeeprs are odd. Including my wife.

That's 4 hours from me. I have a friend that just sold a house in Florence. Wasn't much land with it though. Good luck with the search.
