Use for leftover bottom bars?

I'm just about finished with my next hive, and I have some left over bottom bars: 14 grooved and 4 split. Short of using them for kindling, the only thing I could think of was using them for some kind of slatted bottom rack. Has anyone else used bottom bars for non-frame construction? If so, what did you make?

I use the grooved bottom bars for cell bar frames for queen rearing. The slot is perfect for the jzbz cups with the pins...you just have to trim off the shoulders. When I was going to make a bunch of cell bar frames for students, I found that these bottom bars were $.18 each.

They make great shims to prop up the rear of the hive for overwintering.

Screw some 3/4 strips with slots to take the shortened bottom bars onto a frames side bars and make queen rearing cell frames, Now what can I do with some spare top bars and side frames
