Hello all,
What is the best pollen sub for earliest buildup? I have a 50-lb bag of Bee-Pro that I am using right now. Anyway, your input and opinion is appreciated. Thanks.

Keith Jarret's. But Mann Lake's is more readily available. And they ship.

Keith Jarret's: is that the Nutra-Bee formula?
And from ML: the Ultra-Bee or the Bee-Pro?

I don't have the answer to your question but I'm working the same question here.
I wasn't able to use the few different commercial brands i tried as effectively as I wanted.
I tried to identify my challages (mostly SHB) talked to a couple well respected veteran beekeepers, read everything I could. I came up with a recipe tweaked it a little and so far it's working well.
The needs of your hives are probably very different coming out of winter (we didn't get any snow agian this year). The commercial stuff maybe the most cost effective for you but it's fairly cheap to make your own if you have acsess to ingredients.
You couldn't be any further from the source of the secret ingredient!!!!!
I used Bee-Pro patties last year. No complaints.
This year I'm going to try FeedBee.

I love the smell of nectar in the morning.
When we look at what is the "BEST" sub we need to look at the whole picture. Be sure to ask, ask protein level and the ten amno acids,(some in western mentioned post ONLY list 9 in there catalog) be sure not to forget to ask the "FAT" level as well, ph level.
Watch out for snake oil, just because somebody says it's the gold standard of bee feed, why is it that they leave out the most important amno acid in there ad. Remember there are 10 not 9. Just thought you should know.![]()
