The coldest morning of the winter, zero degrees and windchill of -15, just finished insulating the last of my hives yesterday, yes I procrastinated. Even after 40 years with bees I am still amazed at how they can survive being out in that kind of cold for days and days and not freeze up solid. That little bit of 2" foam board I put on them does more to make me feel better than them I believe. John
