The FED ex guy showed up today in the pouring rain delivering the annual gift which I assume is given to all those who have parted with their "well spent" beebucks thereby enriching the Mann Lake coffers during the preceding year.
Nice gift on their part may I add.
They have great service agreed but I'm still having a hard time swallowing that atrociously mentally gymnastically challenged "An employee owned company" Logo emblazoned on the hats and mugs they sent out.
After the way the former "owner employee" manager who got the ball rolling here in Woodland (after putting his heart and soul into building it up for many years may I add ) was summarily "dismissed" under what I would entitle "hush hush " conditions last spring the statement about "employee ownership" makes me want to throw up every time I see it.
For an "employee" its seems to be about as worthless as the slick ink its printed with. Makes the whole concept of the value of "ownership" about as worthless as a politicians promise.
in my mind the old injun adage about "bee supply man speak with forked tongue about the value of employee ownership" is conjured up when I see it.
I do agree the "owners" have the right to fire whom ever they want. It also can be said that I am very glad I'm not an "owner" who holds such a tenuous position in any such company.
