Hive inspection

This ? Is for the older keeper that has more than a dozen hives. In doing a inspection how hard are you looking for swarm cells and so on. how often are you in and how long per hive on average time wise. Last year I felt like I wasn't looking deep enough. Would just check to see if there was brood somewhere and move on. What started this is thinking of commercial bee keeper and the hundreds that they my go through in a day

The quicker the better for the bees and less of your time wasted. Dont pull every frame! pull one, look for eggs and check the pattern. Then, slide your hive tool in between the two deeps and lean the entire box forward like a hinge. look at the queen cups that are always on the bottom of the frames. One quick look and down it goes. Super if need be and to the next you go.
