Default Any tricks for bottling honey without a honey gate?

I didn't get enough honey this year to warrant setting up/dirtying up the bottling tank.
In the past I've poured with pointy spouted containers, I've used ladles with funnels, but all have left a trail of honey on rims requiring significant clean up.

Can anyone suggest a less sticky kitchen method?

    Thanks!

The warmer it is, the easier it pours. At temps (slightly) above 100F, it pours pretty easily and stops cleanly.
Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?

Two quart glass kitchen measuring cup works well. Get honey somewhat warm - 85 F plus.

A plastic ball valve, from Home Depot,on a 5 gallon pail works as well as a honey gate.
