Default What to do on super warm winter days?

It's gonna be 74 and 72 here this weekend, and sunny. Is it okay to open up the hives and do an inspection, or is it better to just let the bees be until spring is actually here before interrupting their winter homes? I saw SHB scurry when opening hives in mid-November, escaping their propolis jails, so I'm suspecting it'd be best for the bees if I just leave 'em alone since there'll be more cold days and nights ahead. BTW, red maples have already started budding and blooming here in the NC Piedmont.

If everything is good then it would be ok to leave them alone.
If they are light on stores or feed frames need to be rearanged then waiting until spring might not be best.
A quick peek would still allow enough time for fishing!

Opening the boxes breaks the propolis seal between them and let's rain in and creates drafts.
Give the hives a heft at the rear to check for low stores and enjoy watching them fly.
    Good Luck, Mike
