    northern colorado - 80524 - zone 5

apples and lilacs have started in the last few days.
    dandelions are still very prolific.
russian olives are just starting to green up. we have none on our property, but our neighbor to the north seems to tolerate them. the irrigation ditch behind the house is heavily lined with them.

lindens (basswood to some) started last week and look to be in full swing right now.
sumacs are on the verge of popping.
first sunflower at our house opened up over the weekend.
seem to be a lot of options for the bees right now.

some fruits are starting to go too. our crabapple and pear trees are "sitting on ready" and should pop in the next couple of days.

    Yellow sweet blossom clover, 6/14-21

The state plants it to stabilize soil after new roadwork... a 2-3' bushy plant covered with yellow (& sometimes white) 2-4" flower stalks- commonly referred to as "clover". The local stuff is just kicking in, while further north (& lower elevation) it is booming.

    •zipcode

    •name of the plant
•any comment you add gets added to the database so give detailed info about what was going on, if it was the end of the bloom just add that to the comments

First noticed bees bringing in pollen today (1/16/2015)
From charts I have compared pollen to, I believe this is from the elms in town.
