Wild (invasive) roses, the bees love them! Maybe just for the pollen, they just roll around on the flowers.

Also noticing a blackberry that is blooming, but it's not the Himalayan Blackberry nor the Trailing blackberry (both of which I can ID and Trailing blackberry has already started it's bloom (posted previously)). Possibly the Rubus allegheniensis (common blackberry) ??

Forgot to mention the 6 acres of cultivated blueberries I had 4 hives working. Bloom was at peak Tuesday evening during my visit to check on things, and then this happens just 24 hours later. http://youtu.be/RLQd5jR0xtg So sorry for my friend, and the loss of his season! Not sure how the girls faired; assuming they're a little shook up, but OK.

They're mostly buds but there's a few blooms starting and quite a few plants in the area.

Okay, so do you think this thread has run its course yet?
Is someone going to collate all this data somehow into a useable format?
Or is it just random information?

Maybe we can amend the thread to start listing the end of the flow in our area.
    That would be helpful.

    Watcha think??
