May 9 Dandelions have just started blooming here in the lower elevations of Lamoille County, Vermont. No sign of them yet here at 1200 feet, but I'm hopeful.

May 13 Dandelions are blooming over the septic tank. Alas, it has begun.

Coltsfoot, crocuses, daffodils, some red maple, forsythia.

No dandelions yet here in our part of Vermont and with the long range forecast being quite cold and rainy I doubt we see them for awhile.

    •Silver Maple
Bees are bringing in tons of light yellow/white pollen. I need to compare to Silver Maple pollen in neighborhood.

    What is needed:

    •zip code, city or county
•date when the plant first bloomed
    •name of the plant
•comments - example: if it was the end of the bloom just add that to the comments

Lots of very pale yellow pollen coming in, probably sugar maple.
I haven't seen them bloom, but the flowers are rather tiny and I'd have to hike to them.

    April 20,

    • Pussywillow in full bloom around here.
    • Creeping Charlie and the bees are all over it.
    • Dandelions are appearing more and more and the bees are on those as well. Still mostly against the Southern side of buildings and warm spots.

    • Dandelion is waning.
    • Flowering crab apple is full-on
    • Apple is coming on strong in the orchards.
    • Just saw some of the first honeysuckle blooms in my back yard.
