Maple pollen, red from henbit or deadnettle, yellow from daffodils or snowdrops or crocus. I'm just down the road in Darmstadt.

If you only put your zip code how do we know where you are? Please put town and state.

Still in the low to mid 30s during the day with off and on snow flurries predicted for all week. . Only had about 5 days the whole winter where the girls could get out and fly... Last year at this time it was warm for a couple of weeks but then had a reall bad cold snap towards the middle/end of April which reaked havoc on the apple trees and the bees.

First pollen loads of the season in my home yard, and plentiful amounts being gathered - light yellow gray color. Suspect red maple (silver maple/swamp maple) - as there's a few that finally popped open in the area earlier in the day.
