Vitex, Golden Raintree, magnolias, buddhleas, cantalopes, day lillies, lawns are still white with clover, borage will open any day now, roman chamomile, Russian sage, elderberries, either tree of heaven or mimosa (delicate, with pink fluffy blossoms), a few strawberries still blooming, salvias, cosmos, rudbeckias, coriopsis, lobelias, vincas, rose of sharons, and the first white crepe myrtles.

I believe this is for the whole state.... Mimosa (Silk Trees) are all over the place and have been popping up for about a week. Not sure if the bees take to them but if they do there is plenty of it to go around currently.

My bees were all over a few maple trees here in East TN today. I am not really sure what my normal time is for maple bloom. Walt? I am very close to your area as far as time frame.

First dandelion today-- 72 degrees last Friday, low of 15 tonight.
A flowering quince bush is in full bloom--last year I logged them on 3/11. Don't have a clue what that means!
