I was thinking about getting it, but I refuse to purchase a book that thinks I'm a dummy. It may be true, but they don't have to say it!

Well i got mine today and i'm going to read it tonight if it's like the other dummie books it will be helpful. When comes to Dummie books if you buy them it helps with something you nothing about so i quess i am a DUMMIE buy the time i'm done with this book i'll know how to build nucs and hives and any other things for beekeeping i'm sure it's worth the 15 buck i put out plus i have a beekeeping library and have some crapie beekeeping books but i have most of the beekeeping book and it's worth the cash to have books. They go to the beeyard and out side and books are cheap now days hell i just put 100.00 in gas in my truck{and it did not fill it up}so to me books are a good resorce and cheap.

Well building beehives for dummies is a great book on building everything you can think of . It shows in detail how to build just about every beekeeping equipment you'll ever need as a hobbest . Instad of trying to go over the whole book i say just fork out the 15.00 and start building spring is coming .I bought it because i want to make nucs and this book has everything . Very simple it shows how to build TBHS/NUCS/4 FRAME OBSERVATION HIVE/WARRE HIVE/THE BRITISH NATIONAL HIVE{never heard of this one}/the langstroth/ and all the extras like frames/ top feeders/solar wax melter/ lots of tip and pointers on all typs of beekeeping questions i give it

I have not read this new book, but if you want a simple, straightforward book about building beekeeping equipment, get Ed Simon's book "Bee Equipment Essentials"...

Save your money for wood. There is more than enough information on this site about building hives, nucs, tops, bottoms, and frames. Search for some of my old posts.
