What are the prices in your state for these items!!!

I live in CA and was wondering what our prices are compared to something similiar in your state!

Vehicle registration: 2005 F-150 4x4 - $350 a year.
Boat - 16' 1973 Seaswirl - $25 per two years, trailer $20 per five years i believe?
OHV - 1998 2wd honda 4 wheeler - $50 per two years.

Gas- $3.25 and climbing.

Hunting license- $45.
First deer tag - $30 Second deer tag - $37 Pig tag-$21.34 Elk tag(if you get drawn) - $400 Bear tag-$43

Fishing License - $46 Second rod stamp -$14 Sturgeon tag(new this year)- $8

Cost to launch a boat - $10 in most places.


Just curious what you guys are paying in your state for the items listed above!!

Bee, look into lifetime registration if you think you'll have that trailer awhile, pretty cheap, pays for itself in a few years.

Is that the PTO your talking about? If so, my boat trailer was suppose to be PTO but got a letter this year stating they need to start charging the fee to help defer "data entry" costs!! From what I hear a lot of people are experiencing this!! Being lazy I havnt paid it yet, although it was due in August!! I dont see the law enforcing it much, as there are no tags like our vehicles have!!

One of our places is just north of you. California is outrageous on Vehicle fees and its not getting better. I won't say where the other location is but I will say that the same bee vehicle in CA is $700 per year and only $68.00 for two years in one of the others we run bees in. The best thing to come out of Congress this past year was the Map 21 ag exemptions for trucking. Gonna make going between states a lot easier.

The registration in Greene County, Tennessee for my two vehicles was a combined total of $88. Gas is $3 gal. Small utility trailers (mine is 4'x8'), [in non-commercial use], are not required to be licensed. No state income tax (except on interest and dividends). However combined sales tax is very close to 10%.

Oh yeah, no fee apiary registration.

For Combo lifetime hunting, fishing and trapping license: 10.00 for a disabled veteran
Truck Reg is 58.00 for two years.
Gas is 3.19 a gallon.
Boat registration: unknown
Cost to launch a boat: Appears to be free in most places.
Also there is no real estate tax if you are a Disabled Veteran.
Property tax on vehicle is about 150.00 per year.

Wow, when I left the State of CA some time back it was ~$12 for a book of 7 pig tags. Seemed like it was mostly paying for printing of the tags to help take care of nuisance animals.

Buddy of mine had an old truck in his back yard that he didn't pay the fees on. DMV took the money & fines out of his bank account without his knowledge or permition. He found out about it after his house payment check bounced.

Dan, that happened to me also years ago. And I wasn't making much money at all, it hurt. And it was on an old junker sitting in the yard that hadn't run for a year! They charge you to drive it, and they charge you to park it.........such BS

Ya, that's what happens when the state finds a cash cow! When pig tags first came out they were $7.80 for five and went up from there, then a few years ago they went to $20 for one! On an animal considered a feral nuisance and costs the tax payers a lot of money!

Bro in law gave us like a 16' moving trailer, i think we paid $60 for a lifetime reg on it. Haven't seen any additional costs come in on it lately. Everything is a scam here, especially the new laws to smog Diesel trucks... they just look at the engine and charge you $60 or whatever it costs.....

Boat - 16' 1973 Seaswirl - $25 per two years, trailer $20 per five years i believe? 14' jon boat and motor about the same with a little property tax added.
OHV - 1998 2wd honda 4 wheeler - $50 per two years.

Gas- $3.25 and climbing. Just dropped to $3.09

Hunting license- $45. Resident small game and fishing $19, trout stamp $ 7
First deer tag - $30 Second deer tag - $37 Pig tag-$21.34 Elk tag(if you get drawn) - $400 Bear tag-$43 $17 deer, $17 turkey, not much other big game.

Fishing License - $46 Second rod stamp -$14 Sturgeon tag(new this year)- $8

Cost to launch a boat - $10 in most places. Free except on Corps of Engineer Property, which I don't patronize.

vehicle registration is something like $80-100 in Connecticut for 2 years
gas is ridiculous... 3.65 is as cheap as it gets in my part of the state

boat launch is free for my kayak in most places..

no idea about the hunting, I'm vegetarian (I would be vegan if I didn't keep bees)

Hey Irene, at most places here in CA it costs $6 to launch a kayak or float tube! Ya, I think it's crazy too!
