Join our Adopt-a-Hive Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program!

Mill Creek Apiaries is offering an opportunity to participate in the "Adopt-a-Hive CSA" which allows you to participate in the ongoing well-being of the honey bee colony. Just as importantly, it allows individuals to enjoy their very own raw, artisan honey and honey-related products produced from Mill Creek Apiaries' community supported beehives. This innovative program supports the education of and development of healthy beehive practices in tri-state area and educates the public about the vital role that honey bees play in sustaining agriculture and provides the benefits of beekeeping without the need for equipment, land, and expertise involved in beekeeping.


Individuals can participate by adopting a beehive on a farm located in Sussex County, New Jersey.

Participants will receive:

Certificate of adoption
From the apiary:
  • 3 lbs of raw honey
  • 100% beeswax pillar candle
  • Beeswax and Avocado oil hand salve



Participate in organized hands-on field days in the apiary with BBQ or "Pot Luck" lunch
Periodic newsletter from the apiary.
Adopt-A-Hive annual cost - $85.00
