Even undertaker bees are fasinating

Went to check on my hives today on yet another warm New England December day. I couldn't help but be mesmerized by a few undertakers taking out the expired.

The Buzz: It truly NEVER ceases to amaze me, the organization and heirarchy of the bee hive! Down here, when I see the undertakers working, it always scares me...too many dang dragonflies! Though he is steadily coming around, my husband still thinks I am a bit nuts when I go out to watch the girls as evening approaches! WAY better than any fish tank!! With all my family up in the NorthEast (Boston area), I wish for you a decent winter!
