Traveling (slightly beekeeping related)

I'm looking at traveling internationally (outside the USA) with my girlfriend during a colder month, maybe February?

We can't figure out where we want to go. I'm curious if anyone knows of good destinations to expand my world view of beekeeping?

I'm biased (living in Australia) so I'll second Graham's suggestion for you to visit Australia! February is traditionally the hottest month in Australia so bring a wide brimmed hat.

There's actually a working honey factory open to the public near the coast of south-east Queensland. 'Superbee Honeyworld' http://www.superbeetourism.com.au/

It could be a little difficult to stay at the B&B and visit the factory on the same day - despite it only being a 19 hour drive between them!
