Questions about Hive construction and the bottom board.

Okay I have my deep super cut and 2 mediums cut and ready to assemble. I crafted the bottom board as shown on the Langs 10 frame on the home page. So is the bottom meant to slide out for mite inspection and such?

Okay i'm building the first one. So I just need to glue and nail it in place that was what I needed to know thank you!

Typically you don't glue or nail it in place, the bees will propolize it on, but you may find you need to replace it or the box sitting on it and you want to be able to pry it off.

I understood the OP to be asking if the plywood bottom was to slide in and out of its frame. Are you thinking that he is asking about the whole bottom board assembly? That certainly would make a difference!
