    Default Hello from East-Central Ohio

Hi everyone, I'm a complete and utter novice. I've never had bees, but I've been bitten (stung?) by the bug (bee?) and have been researching for the last few weeks.

If things go according to plan, I hope to have two hives this Spring.

I've been skimming this forum for a few days and I can't wait until I actually know what the heck I'm doing (and what the heck many of you are talking about).

    Cheers!

    Hey JohnnyCam Jr.

What part of Ohio are you located? I am near Howard and am new to beekeeping myself. I will be starting two new
    hives this spring.

Welcome Johnny. I'm down around Chillicothe and President of the Scioto Valley Beekeepers Association. If your looking for a beginners beekeeping course let me know I know of a few around. Central Ohio Beekeepers does 2 I think and we do one down in Circleville. I know the feeling of being bitten by the bug! Good Luck!
